THINGS TO KNOW

**IMPORTANT SAFETY UPDATES**

Your health & safety is important to us, as well as providing a clean & safe environment for both our clients & staff is our top priority. We are currently accepting both new and existing clients

** Up to date vaccination and booster required

Thank you, everyone, for your continued support and patience during this time!

Booking Your Appointment

Peak massage hours are evenings and Saturdays so call well in advance if those are your preferred times. If your schedule allows you to be more flexible, then morning and mid-day appointments can be accommodated on a shorter notice. Because we have multiple rooms and use multiple therapists, we offer a full time receptionist for scheduling rather than on-line booking.

Checking In & Out

Please arrive early for your appointment so you may experience your massage to its fullest. Each new client will be required to complete a short intake form and a client bill of rights as required by law, which should only take about five minutes. Also allow time for rest room stops and any financial transactions that may be required prior to the massage.

Cancellations

Out of consideration and respect for the therapists, we require a 24 hour notice of cancellation. There is a $25.00 charge for failure to cancel late or same day cancel.

Session Communication

We desire your massage experience to be memorable. Please communicate your preferences to your therapist; i.e., amount of pressure, conversation or no conversation, music preferences, room temperature. If the pressure is not enough/too much or if you are too warm/too cold, please let your therapists know. We desire your experience to be a positive one and will only know to change something if it is communicated.

Attire

The best way to receive a massage or other bodywork is to be unclothed. However, if modesty is an issue we never require you to be naked if it makes you feel uncomfortable. Our therapists are trained in the “art of draping”. You will be covered at all times except the area of the body that is being worked on. They will only enter the room when you are ready and will leave the room before you get up from the table.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in our prices and are greatly appreciated. Calculate the tip as you would at a restaurant – the average is between 15-20% pre -discounted price, however you may leave more depending on the quality of the service. You may leave the gratuity with the receptionist who will make sure the therapist receives it or you can give it directly to your massage therapist. Gratuities may also be charged on a credit card. When figuring your gratuity, please keep in mind that the amount a therapist receives from a Groupon massage is approximately ¼ the amount of their normal fee.
